The IPR-Insights team is committed to initiatives that protect natural assets. In addition to saving energy and doing our part in the office’s selective waste collection, we also collect rubbish we find on our hikes – “forgotten” by others in the forest – and take it to a waste disposal site.
On Earth Day, we want to take another small step to help reduce the need to cut down trees.
For business contacts, visit cards may already be replaced by viable substitutes. So we have decided that in the future, for those who don’t need a paper business card, we will create an electronic substitute (we plan to use a QR code) that we can share with others on our phones. Most mobile phones already have a QR code reader, so a vCard saved in this format can be saved to the contact list of the scanning phone quickly and easily.
Fewer printed business cards mean fewer trees to cut down, saving printing costs and even time for our partners to digitize the cards we hand over 🙂
We wish everyone a sustainable, energy-saving, and environmentally-friendly everyday life!
