Budapest Bank was established in 1987 as one of the first Hungarian commercial banks. As one of the leading players in the Hungarian banking market, they are one of the largest universal banks in Hungary, offering a full range of financial services to both households and companies, especially SMEs. The main members of the banking group are the bank’s wholly-owned subsidiaries Budapest Fund Management Ltd. and Budapest Leasing Ltd. In 2006, they established the Banking Operations Centre in Békéscsaba, where today almost 800 employees work in modern workplaces designed to meet the requirements of the 21st century.
